texas-state-vehicle-inspectionTexas state law requires all Texas registered vehicles to undergo an annual inspection. The focus of the state inspection is to ensure proper working order and safety of vehicles. Looking thoroughly at a vehicles wear and tear, functions, and features helps keep drivers safe on the road.

In addition to a safety inspection, some vehicles also require an emissions test. Whether you drive a car, truck, SUV, or motorcycle, Road Runner utilizes time efficient methodology to keep your visit short and sweet.

Texas state law also requires trailers to have a state inspection sticker. However, trailers, diesel powered vehicles, and motorcycles are not required to fulfill an emissions test.

During the inspection process, an ASE certified mechanic will look at specific safety items including the brake system, exhaust emission system, exhaust system, horn, mirrors, seat belts, windshield wipers, steering, tires, wheel assembly, beam indicator, stop lamps, tail lamps, license plate lamp, turn signal lamps, rear red reflectors, head lamps, gas caps, motor, serial, or vehicle identification number, and window tint.
